Jorge Parra Jr.

Jorge Parra Jr. is a Mexican-American writer/director from El Monte, California. He received his BA in Geography from UCLA and is a recent graduate of the MFA Directing program at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television. His previous film "Windows" was nominated for a College Television Award by the Television Academy Foundation. His thesis film, "¡Que Suene La Banda!" earned him the UCLA Class Artist Award for 2025 (Graduate Level) as well as recent nominations for the 2026 Imagen Awards and the 2026 College Television Awards.
