Biography

Danaë is a Melbourne based Production Designer and Producer, with a wide range of experience across feature films, shorts, music videos, web series and television. She studied Film and Television at Deakin University, specialisng in the horror genre during study. Danaë has now worked across horror, comedy, drama, sci fi, romance, and many other genres.

As a Production Designer, whether it's a gory horror scene, or a light hearted romance, or something full of pattern and colour, she loves to design costumes and sets that work to create visual interest and tell a story, and to use art and design principles and to create awesome looking scenes.

As a Producer, there is no task that can't be done! Danaë is always keen to find workarounds and ways to achieve the best outcome for the Director, and for the film overall, between working with any budget range, scouting locations, scheduling and organising, and of course putting together the best crew possible.
