Biography

Lulu Benavides is a professionally trained Peruvian actress based in Los Angeles, CA. While living in Arequipa, Peru, Lulu could not resist the call to the arts. She studied and trained there before making the inspired move to Hollywood, CA. Benavides, being an advocate for education, studied at the prestigious AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts, earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts, and later continued his studies at New York Film Academy earning a Master of Fine Arts in Acting.

This bilingual powerhouse has worked with many Hollywood staples from Universal Studios Hollywood to the DTLA Film Festival. Some of her most recent work is "Margarita" a short film that talks about Immigration and "Shut up, you" a project that discusses themes about mental health.

What fuels Lulu is her desire not only to be a talented artist but to use her influence to help her native Peru and all those wanting to reach their dreams.
