Hajrudin (aka Hari) Muhic is a composer, orchestrator, arranger, and pianist from Bosnia and Herzegovina, currently based in Los Angeles.
His musical journey began in Bosnia, where he started his music education before being awarded a scholarship to study Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music in Boston (USA).
Hari's remarkable talent has earned him prestigious awards as a pianist and composer, along with various grants and scholarships to advance his career. His exceptional journey at Berklee led to the Michael Kamen Award, which honored his dedication and artistic prowess. As a film composer, his compositions have been featured in award-winning films at festivals in Bosnia, Serbia, Portugal, Russia, and Greece. Notably, his recent work for the movie "Guguto Memeto" was recognized at the 9th Film Olympiad in Greece, where it won in the Best Original Music category.
Hajrudin also writes concert music for soloists and chamber ensembles, with his works recorded at the legendary Power Station Studio in New York. He frequently researches and lectures on Bosnian music traditions, which culminated in his production of the first show in the USA at the Berklee Performance Center, showcasing the history of Bosnian music from the 16th century to the present day.
