Sindha Agha is a BAFTA-winning and Emmy-nominated director, writer & visual artist. Her viral, vibrant work uses comedy to explore pain through an absurdist yet tender tone, and is heavily influenced by her Sindhi heritage and Midwestern upbringing.

Sindha kicked off her career by writing & directing "Birth Control Your Own Adventure," acquired by The New York Times, which quickly reached 12.5 million organic views, was nominated for a 2019 News & Documentary Emmy and accepted into Tribeca Film Festival.

Sindha has since written & directed the BAFTA-winning original comedy series "How to Be a Person" for Channel 4, now streaming on All 4 in the UK. Episodes from the series have been accepted into Atlanta Film Festival and AFI Fest, where they received a Special Jury Mention for Screenwriting.

Sindha has been awarded two separate Sundance Institute fellowships (Ignite & New Voices), won the Cannes Lions Gold Young Director Award, won "Best Episodic" at Tribeca X, wrote & co-executive produced the Netflix series "The Principles of Pleasure," directed two seasons of her series "Body Language" for BBC Three, contributed to Radiolab, The New Yorker, Vox and The Atlantic, created the series "Twenty Ten Twenty-Five" for the Academy of American Poets and the Mellon Foundation and directed a short film for The Wellcome Trust. She has guest lectured at universities including MIT, UC Berkeley and NYU and her work is included in the curricula of both film programs & medical schools around the world.
