Léa De Carmo was born in Paris, France. Her father, Manuel Blanquet, originally from Portugal, works in the French television industry as a TV host. At the early age of 3, her mother signed her up in an acting class when she realized Léa loved telling stories.

Ever since, Léa has never stopped acting, attending many renowned French dramatic schools like 'L'Ecole du Jeu' or 'Les Cours Florent'. She graduated with a Literary French Baccalaureat with the highest honors. She then studied acting for 3 years at "L'Atelier Juliette Moltes" in the prestigious Class Training. Juliette Moltes herself was her mentor and closely followed her career.

Léa performed in tens of plays and staged a version of Cendrillon by Joel Pomerat. She started her movie career with multiple short films made by international directors. She then booked her first supporting role in the feature "Ce qui nous rend plus fort" coming out in 2021.

She recently moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue her acting career. She graduated this summer from the Baron Brown Studio in Santa Monica.

Léa speaks fluently French, Portuguese, and English.
