Biography

Sol LeWitt was born on September 9, 1928 in Hartford, Connecticut, USA. He was a director, known for Dance (Film-as-Set Design) (1979), Sol LeWitt: 4 Decades (2001) and Sol LeWitt: An Interview (1977). He was married to Carol. He died on April 8, 2007 in New York City, New York, USA.

Graduated from the School of Visual Art in 1953 with a BFA in Illustration.
