Maciej Sadowski is a Polish film composer, double bassist, and multi-instrumentalist with around 20 years of stage and studio experience. Operating at the intersection of jazz, contemporary classical, and experimental music, he is known for his visceral, dark, and melancholic soundscapes.
His distinctive approach is perfectly showcased in his score for Conscian Morgan's feature film Binding Eva (2026), which celebrated its world premiere at London's FrightFest. In this project, his unsettling, string-driven arrangements mirror the film's psychological depth.
As a versatile session musician, Sadowski has recorded on over 200 releases globally and collaborated with major platforms including Warner Music Group, Universal Music, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video. He is the founder of Eastrings Records and the driving force behind several innovative ensembles, such as LowBow and Gdansk Necropolitan Orchestra. In 2021, he released his critically acclaimed solo album, I Have Absolutely Nothing to Say, so Listen, via New York's Rhodium Publishing.
Outside of the recording studio, Maciej is a dedicated martial artist and a highly active figure in the European jazz scene.
