- In 2003, Prakashji and he tried to approach Amitabh Bachchan for a film. They even finalized a script. Unfortunately, things didn't work out as Prakash had heart surgery and Ram was busy acting in television serials.
- He made some television serials, which he wanted to air on Doordarshan. The financier was an American and refused to pay a bribe to Doordarshan and the serials couldn't be aired.
- His elder son stays with Ram and works in an IT firm. Younger son Vikrant Sethi is married and settled in Australia.
- Came to Bombay in 1962 to try his luck in films. His elder brother was involved in theatre. After finding no luck he left back New Delhi. He returned back two years later and made friends with Ravi Tandon.
