Beecher Kirby was born on December 26, 1911 in Sevierville, Tennessee, USA. He was an actor, known for Home in San Antone (1949), Hi, Neighbor (1942) and Smoky Mountain Melody (1948). He died on October 17, 2002 in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

Performer at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry on Dobro, guitar and banjo.

Born in Sevierville, Tenn, also the birthplace of Dolly Parton. Became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 1995 at age 84.
