After having written and directed several short films, Jean-Luc Goossens was chosen by M6 STUDIO to write the feature film "Asterix and the Vikings." He is also the author of about fifteen comedies for French television ("Le Divin Enfant," "Si j’étais elle," "Je hais les enfants," "Je hais les parents," "Je hais les vacances," "Simple," "A 10 minutes de nulle part," "A 10 minutes des naturistes," "Le bonheur sinon rien," "Lettre à France..."). He created and wrote two series for Belgian television (RTBF): "Melting Pot Café" (18x52') and "Esprits de famille" (10x52'). He also contributed to the writing of two animated series: "Nichola’s fantastic summer" (M6 / 17 episodes) and "LOUCA" (in production with TF1 / 7 episodes). He was President of the Belgian committee of SACD in 2018-19, and in 2021-2024, and a board member in Paris. He teaches screenwriting (writing series) in the Cinema Writing Master's program at the IAD in Belgium.
