Sepehr Mahdaviani is an Iranian film editor and post-production professional with experience in feature films, short films, documentaries, television, and visual effects. He began his professional career in editing and later worked in Iranian cinema as an assistant editor on several feature films, collaborating with established filmmakers including Rassoul Sadr Ameli, Kambuzia Partovi, Manijeh Hekmat, and Peyman Ghasemkhani. He later worked as the editor of feature films including Torghozabad and Junks & Dolls.
Alongside narrative filmmaking, Mahdaviani has worked on documentaries, television productions, short films, and visual effects. His approach to editing is strongly focused on storytelling, narrative structure, rhythm, and shaping raw footage into a coherent cinematic experience.
He has also been teaching editing and post-production since 2015 and has taught at several educational institutions in Iran, including Sharif University of Technology.
