Katharine Petkovski

Katharine Petkovski is a Canadian composer and pianist based in Toronto, working across film, documentary and concert music. Her screen work includes original music for Land of Canaan, Saint & the Sea, and Blind Hockey, as well as licensed music featured in Ronaldinho: The Happiest Man in the World and The Encampments.
She received First Prize in the Animation category of the 2024 SOCAN Foundation Emerging Screen Composer Awards and was named one of CBC Music’s "30 hot Canadian classical musicians under 30." Her concert music has been performed by ensembles including the Vancouver Chamber Choir and Exultate Chamber Singers. Petkovski holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in composition from the University of Toronto.
