Farah Ann Abdul Hadi

Artistic gymnast and only the third Malaysian Olympic gymnast Farah Ann Abdul Hadi took up gymnastics at age three and first started competing at national competition Sukma Games. She made her international debut at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi and in 2014, won the bronze in floor exercise and team event at the Artistic Celtic Cup-Commonwealth Invitational in Scotland.
She scored her first gold medal in the team event at the SEA Games in 2015, where she also won a second gold for floor exercise. She also picked up a silver each in both the uneven bars and individual events and three bronzes for vault, balance beam and uneven bars. She won three more golds at the 2019 SEA Games in Manila for all-around, uneven bars and floor exercise.
After missing out by just a 0.1 margin to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics, she finally made the cut to participate at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics at the Olympic qualifiers in Germany, finishing 59th out of 189 gymnasts. At the Olympics, the gymnast scored the highest points in vault and floor exercise, and finished 68th out of 85 gymnasts after amassing a total of 48.656 points.
