Biography

Lia Matthew Brown is a Toronto-based screenwriter, novelist, and film critic. L's stories explore genderqueer euphoria, pop culture, and the end of the world. L's film works have played festivals around the world (and in Gimli, Manitoba) and in 2020, when we were all stuck indoors, L self-published a book of essays about trauma and survival narratives in George Miller's 2015 film, Mad Max: Fury Road.
