Saule Ashimova was born on June 15, 1969 in Alma-Ata, Kazakh SSR, USSR [now Almaty, Kazakhstan]. She is an actress, known for Skazka o prekrasnoy Aysulu (1987), Leytenant S. (1987) and Mercy of the Sea (2003).

Mother of actor Marin Arman Grbin.

Saule Ashimova is a ballerina, soloist of the Croatian National Theatre Ballet in Zagreb, Croatia, former soloist of the Slovene National Theatre Ballet from Maribor, Slovenia, Russian National Ballet S. Radchenko from Moscow, Russia and Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet House Abay from Almaty, Kazakhstan.
