Award-winning production designer with a proven track record of blending creative vision and technical excellence across animation and live-action. My career highlights include doing the production design of the visually captivating world of Vivo, an animated musical featuring original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and collaborating on the Oscar-winning Pan's Labyrinth, directed by Guillermo del Toro.
Recently, I was the production designer for the early development of the animated musical Bad Fairies, directed by Megan Dong and produced by Warner Bros. Pictures Animation & Locksmith Animation. I led the creative vision from concept to a first-look presentation, playing a pivotal role in securing the project's green light.
In animation, I've shaped the creative vision for projects like The Emoji Movie and contributed to the development of beloved films such as The Tale of Despereaux, Madagascar 3, Mr. Peabody & Sherman, and Puss in Boots 2: Nine Lives & 40 Thieves. My contributions have earned critical acclaim, including an Annie Award nomination for Best Production Design for Vivo. I've collaborated with leading studios like DreamWorks, Sony Pictures Animation, Paramount and Netflix to create visually stunning and memorable worlds.
In live-action, I've designed immersive sets for celebrated films, earning an Art Directors Guild Excellence Award for Pan's Labyrinth. My work reflects a deep commitment to innovation and storytelling through design.
Based in Los Angeles, I continue contributing to groundbreaking projects, blending my Madrid roots with global artistic sensibilities.
