- Cristóbal Krusen is an award-winning writer and director whose films have taken him to more than twenty countries and a wide range of languages. He began his career making Spanish-language films in Latin America before expanding to projects in Europe, Asia, and North America. His credits include Final Solution (2001), More Than Dreams (2006), Sabina K. (2015)-selected as Bosnia and Herzegovina’s candidate for the 2016 Academy Awards-and Let Me Have My Son (2023), a moving and very personal story inspired by the life of his own son. Known for his ability to work with actors and crews from many cultural backgrounds, Krusen has earned a reputation as a filmmaker who creates powerful, human stories that speak across borders. With his upcoming film The Search, Krusen is turning to France-a country whose cinema, landscapes, and people have long inspired him. Shot in French and set among the vineyards and countryside, the film is both a heartfelt homage and a celebration of the beauty and spirit of France.
