Mini bio

  • Adam Bruce Bouqdib was born in Paris, France, to Maranda Bouqdib, an American from Chicago, and Taha Bouqdib, a Moroccan entrepreneur from Rabat. After spending his early childhood in Paris, he moved with his family to Singapore, where he was raised and spent most of his formative years.

Bouqdib's creative journey began in Singapore, where he started studying theatre at Centre Stage School of the Arts while being homeschooled. From an early age, he developed a strong interest in film, performance, and storytelling. At Centre Stage, he performed in many productions including Secrets and Lies, Grimm Tales, Living with Lady Macbeth, Sparkleshark, and Late Company. His experience there provided a foundation in stagecraft, ensemble work, and character development.

Alongside acting, Bouqdib trained in martial arts for more than a decade, studying Shaolin Kung Fu, Qigong, Yi Jin Jing, Taijiquan, Wushu, and self defense. His martial arts discipline became an important part of his creative style, influencing the fight choreography and action sequences he creates. As a teenager, he also began modeling for promotional campaigns in Singapore and launched a YouTube channel featuring short films and fight scene projects that combined his acting and stunt work.

In 2018, Bouqdib attended the Young Film Academy in London and collaborated on The Elevator, which won Best Film for Ages 14 to 17 at the British Film Institute's Young Film Academy Awards that year. He also gained experience behind the camera, working as a camera operator and editor.

Bouqdib continued performing in theatre productions throughout high school, including Bring It On The Musical and Puffs. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles to study at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, where he trained in method acting, movement, voice, film fighting, improvisation, and scene study for television and drama.

After his training in Los Angeles, Bouqdib completed two years of National Service in Singapore, achieving the rank of Corporal First Class. Once his service ended, he relocated to the United States to continue his studies in acting at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. There, he has appeared in numerous short films, thesis projects, and independent productions, collaborating with student directors and building his on camera experience.

Bouqdib also earned a featured role in the French Moroccan film L Homme des Signes, directed by Zhor Fassi Fihri, a biographical drama inspired by the life of Moroccan artist and cultural figure Mehdi Qotbi. Bouqdib appears in the film in a French speaking supporting role, with release planned for 2026.

Drawing from his multicultural background, international education, and wide range of training, Bouqdib brings both physical discipline and emotional depth to his performances. He continues to build his craft through short film work, martial arts inspired projects, and collaborations within the independent film community.

Bouqdib lives in Savannah, Georgia (as of 2025), while pursuing professional acting opportunities across the United States and internationally.
