Biography

Tommie Connor was born on November 16, 1904 in Bloomsbury, London, England, UK. He was a composer, known for Ladder 49 (2004), The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) and Memphis Belle (1990). He died on November 28, 1993 in Farnborough, London, England, UK.

In 1943, he wrote with Michael Carr the English lyrics of the French song "Qu'est-ce qu'on attend pour être heureux ?" which were written in 1938 by André Hornez with the music of Paul Misraki. The title became "I Love To Sing" and the song was sung by Vera Lynn in Rhythm Serenade (1943).
