Biography

Mike Rosenberg has been writing since an early age, coming up with stories and creating worlds. In elementary school he helped his friend make movies for YouTube and that cemented his desire to go into the filmmaking world. Over time, he grew into wanting to not just make the movies, but to write and act in them as well. He took an advanced acting class and retook the advanced filmmaking class multiple times in high school. He is in his last year studying film at the University of Colorado in Denver and plans to write and pitch a show idea to Netflix. In the meantime, he's playing and teaching music as well as also writing a novel and many scripts. As mentioned he also plays music, being a professional drummer (who "occasionally sings") he teaches drum lessons and directs shows at the School of Rock in Littleton, Colorado.

Mike has been playing drums since the age of 9 and has played on tour several times. He has also played at Red Rocks Amphitheater 4 times and Lollapalooza twice. He's been on tour with the School of Rock All Stars and his own band, Springfield.

Mike likes to make stupid voices rather than try to do specific impersonations. His reasoning is "it's not as funny hearing someone do serious impressions anymore, you gotta spice it up and be stupid about it.".

Mike has been working on a book that he started back in 2012. The first draft was finished in 2018 and he's since been taking on the second draft, rewriting it from scratch.
