Fred is a seasoned sound recordist with over two decades of experience in the film and TV industry. Born in France, he got his start on film sets in the 90s as a trainee and sound utility under the tutelage of French sound recordist Jean-Pierre Ruh, where he learned the fundamentals and most essential skills of the craft. Since then, he has contributed his location sound recording skills and interpersonal talents to a wide array of exciting international projects.
Having worked extensively across the African continent, from South Africa to Algeria, and from Senegal to Kenya, Fred has had the opportunity to immerse himself in diverse cultures and settings. In 2019, he relocated to split his time between Nairobi, Kenya, and Marseille, France.
