Daughter of a Greek mother, Hannah EK Haj Omar, the first Greek professional actress with Down syndrome, was born in Kuwait. Before coming back to Greece, her education started in USA, Jordan and UK as she also speaks English, Arab and Greek. Combined with her education in Greece, at the same time she began her prolific study and work that evolved her stage experience since 2007. Being a professional actress with constant work since 2017 most notably in productions of THEAMA (the first and internationally acclaimed Greek inclusive theatre company consisted of disabled actors in its main composition as well as by non-disabled ones) beginning with "Blindfold - The Night of the Hunt" in Brighton Fringe Festival and London, her artistic qualities of brilliance, intelligence and charisma have also been widely acknowledged in a remarkable acting range of acclaimed performances.

      Chorus member in Sophocles' "Antigone" in an acclaimed stage production of THEAMA, co-directed by Vassilis Oikonomou and Eliana Perifanou. Antigone was portrayed by Elie Driva, Creon by Panos Zournatzidis, the Guard and the Messenger by Michalis Tamboukas, Ismene by Vicky Petropoulou, Tiresias by Konstantinos Loukas, Haemon by Manos Triantafillakis, and Eurydice by Efi Toumba. Chorus was also consisted by Aimiliani Avraam, Katerina Kontomarkou and Vassilis Oikonomou as Leaders, and Maria Mourelatou and Angeliki Nomikou as members. The exquisite music of the production was composed by Elias Kourtparasidis.

      In 2018 (January - April) she played a Police Officer in Jean-Paul Sartre's play "Nekrassov", translated by Elina Daraklitsa and presented for the first time in Greece at the "Apo Michanis Theatro" (i.e. Ex Machina Theatre) in Athens, in a critically praised production by THEAMA, brilliantly directed by Vassilis Oikonomou, who also received kudos on his marvelous performance in the leading role of Georges De Valera together with Michalis Tamboukas as Inspector Goblet, Panos Zournatzidis as Jules Palotin and Katerina Kontomarkou as Demidoff. The fine cast also included Manos Triantafillakis (Beggar Robert, Sibilot), Aimiliani Avraam (Beggar Irma, Peruvian Mayor's Interpreter, Nerciat), Konstantinos Loukas as Police Officer, Angeliki Nomikou (Palotin's Secretary), Christina Toumba (Tavernier), Efi Toumba (Périgord), Maria Mourelatou (Peruvian Mayor), Andreas Zikoulis (Mouton), Elie Driva (Veronique), Evangelia Schina (Mrs. Bounoumi), Stavros Zafeiris (Baudouin and Chapuis) and Marina Besiri (Party Guest) in excellent performances. This acclaimed stage production was also the first Greek one accessible to persons with sensory disabilities with SDH surtitles both in Greek and English, Greek Sign Language interpretation and audio description. The sublime music of the show was composed by Elias Kourtparasidis. The process of the production was also depicted in the documentary film project Enas allos... Sartre (2018).
