Julia is a writer, producer and playwright.
With a focus on social issues, she's collaborated with Fenian Films on several projects. This includes challenges faced by the Canadian Indigenous community as well as patients navigating the health system.
Two of her satirical comedies Charity (2025) - about homelessness - and Bite (2026) - a story about prison food - were recently selected and staged at Theatre Burlington's 10-minute play festival.
Charity was selected for the Grand River Arts Festival in Brantford, Ontario.
