Biography

Ramin Koupaee, born on June 14, 1992, in Tehran, is a filmmaker by profession. He embarked on his filmmaking journey at the age of 21 in 2014. Under the guidance of distinguished instructors such as Hassan Hassandoost and Reza Mir Karimi, he completed his bachelor's degree in filmmaking and a diploma in aesthetics editing from Hilaj Film School in 2017. He initially started his career by editing short films and later directed his first short film titled "Sagsal" in 2018, which found its way to festivals such as the ZBLIZENIA International Film Festival Poland and the Tehran Short Film Festival.
