Yuchi Chiu is known for his role on NBC's Chicago Med as Ellis Xue as well as his independent film work such as "BJ's Mobile Gift Shop" (Sundance 2021 Official Selection). Born and raised in Los Angeles, he moved to Chicago and began his professional career as a high school special education teacher. After five years in the classroom, he transitioned to acting full-time and has been performing on stage and in front of the camera ever since.
Yuchi is a proud graduate of Northwestern University and studied acting at Black Box Acting, Acting Studio Chicago, and The Annoyance Theater. He now resides in LA.
