Bitu Thomas

Bitu started acting in her mid 30s leaving a corporate career behind to enter the stage and screen world. She is known for 'Apnas' - a gritty Mancunian British feature film, Scottish series 'Summerwater' , 'One Life' starring Anthony Hopkins, Patterns series on Amazon Prime and 'We are Lady Parts' broadcast on Peacock in the US, Ch4 in the UK and Stan in Australia . She has also acted in Malayalam films like White, Moonamghattam, Tamil film ' Sila Nodigalil' and Hindi speaking role in Laadla 2. Her lead role Sheeru in short film 'Indi' was the official selection at London Indian Film Festival 2023. Bitu is also a filmmaker and scriptwriter and has written and directed 3 short films during the pandemic which has garnered accolades from film festivals.
