Marin Cumatrenco(I)

Marin Cumatrenco is a film director, producer and actor born in Moldova. After releasing a directed video on YouTube that exceeds 4 million views in a few months, he studies film directing in Romania, at the National University of Theater Arts and Cinematography "I.L. Caragiale", in Napoleon Helmis's class and is doing his master's degree at the same university in the class of Paul Negoescu. He made his directorial and production debut with "My Friend", awarded at the "Cinemaiubit" International Student Film Festival. Next is the course film on 35mm black-and-white film "November, 14th" with Stefan Iancu and Emilian Oprea. Graduated with the undergraduate film "Memories of Transition" with Cristi Iacob and Constantin Tache Florescu, filmed hybrid: traditional and in 360 version. As a fiction feature film producer, Marin has "Tunete" by Ioane Bobeica, "Carbon" by Ion Bors and "Varvara" by Anatol Durbala. Marin Cumatrenco is currently (21.11.2025) developing his first feature film.
