Biography

Kerry Skinner is an award-winning Director/Producer/Actor and founder member of Park Bench Pictures. Her debut feature, 'Common People', won numerous awards at international festivals and played to packed houses for nine weeks at one London cinema before receiving a nationwide theatrical release in the UK with Picturehouse Cinemas. Kerry also directed the short film, 'The Bicycle Thief' which was selected by Directors UK as a winner of the 2018 Challenge ALEXA and was described by Stephen Fry as "Just wonderful! Exquisitely made in every detail, it's triumphant." The film screened at over 30 film festivals worldwide including BAFTA, Oscar and BIFA qualifying festivals. Kerry's latest short films, the Sci-Fi Tragicomedy 'CHAD' and comedy 'Sally's Sunshine', are screening on the festival circuit and garnering awards and nominations at numerous international festivals. At present she is developing the TV comedy series 'Delivery Driver' and two new features for Park Bench Pictures slate; low-budget music drama, 'Songs From A Gilded Cage,' and 'Body Checks', a romantic comedy adapted from the critically acclaimed stage play which Kerry previously produced.
