Graduated from Notre Dame high school, Sherman Oaks, California, in
1999. In 2001, she was recognized for a poem she wrote on behalf of New
Yorkers who were effected by the September 11th tragedy. This poem was
published in the New Yorker and she received an award for her creative
writing and was honored on February 1, 2002. The award was presented to
her by Florence Henderson.
