Symone Holmes is an actor known for bringing grounded emotional depth, intelligence, and presence to her work across film, television, and theatre.
A graduate of the MFA Acting program at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), Holmes has continued building a body of work spanning independent film, television, and theatre.
Holmes has also been selected as an Acting Mentee for Lena Waithe's Hillman Grad Mentorship Lab, continuing her development alongside established artists and industry leaders.
Her background extends to the stage and international performance, including work with CalArts Center for New Performance and Teatr Studio in Warsaw, Poland. Her theatre credits include *In the Red and Brown Water* and *Lord of the Flies*.
Before pursuing acting professionally, Holmes was a nationally recognized collegiate competitor in Speech and Debate, becoming a national champion in public speaking. She holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from Texas State University in addition to her MFA from CalArts.
