Biography

  • Zachary Golinger is a Screen Actor's Guild Award-nominated and critically acclaimed actor best known for his roles as the pivotal character "John" in the final season of the multiple Emmy Award-winning HBO show, Barry, and as the emotive "Young Danny" (and his 'twin brother' Adam) in Apple TV+'s new thriller, The Crowded Room, where he stars alongside Tom Holland, Amanda Seyfried and Emmy Rossum. Zachary has earned praise from major media critics for his "impressive" and "preternatural" acting talents. He previously guest starred in the network television shows, Blue Bloods (CBS), New Amsterdam (NBC) and Evil (CBS/Paramount), and he first graced the big screen in the Paramount Pictures blockbuster, A Quiet Place: Part II, playing the befallen son of actor Cillian Murphy's lead character, "Emmett". Even before he had filmed under the direction of John Krasinski and worked alongside such renowned actors as Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy, when he was only 6 years old, Zachary booked his first film role as "Marty Haft" on the Holocaust-biopic "The Survivor" directed by Oscar Award-winning director Barry Levinson and starring Ben Foster (released on HBO in 2022). Filmed in Budapest, New York City and Tybee Island, the process inspired Zachary to not only continue working as an actor, but to also create his own films as a writer and director. Zachary is also a working voiceover actor, voicing the beloved Paw Patrol character "Rex" for games and toys, along with other voiceover work. In addition to acting, Zachary is also an avid fiction writer and enjoys coding and creating his own games.

Zachary was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2024 for his role on Barry.
