Biography

Day Robson (formerly known as David Robson) is an actor in film and television. He enjoys accents (General American; British RP; Australian) and seeks out parts that give him the opportunity to use them. Although based in Australia, Day is willing to relocate to take advantage of acting opportunities. Formerly a schoolteacher, Day spent many years acting in the school classroom. Day is a member of the Australian American Association of South Australia Incorporated.

Day Robson Actor (2019) Bio (formerly known as David Robson)

• based in Adelaide, but will re-locate for work
• started training in 2012, initially to improve my voiceover work
• took part in student films, joined AAA talent agency
• did the TAFTA 20 week course in 2015
• joined MEAA and started doing their workshops
• took part in numerous workshops, including audition workshops
• joined Pure Actors management
• did Rob Marchand's CBI workshop, and took part in subsequent workshops as a volunteer, including the recent one at the Actors Studio
• had a guest role in Neighbours Jan 2018
• worked as an extra in a number of television productions
• recently had a small part in feature film "Escape from Pretoria" Dir. Francis Annan
• recently completed Greg Apps "Creating Compelling Characters" and "Self Taping School" courses
• actively looking for work in film and television
• have entered the Green Card lottery (drawn in May 2019)
• on the lookout for training opportunities
• do not accept that older people are not relevant in film and television
