Biography

Dario Askari is an Iranian-American actor, filmmaker, and dentist born in Rasht, Iran. During his teenage years, he moved to Costa Mesa, California, where he began his acting career and developed his passion for storytelling and the performing arts.

After completing his studies in Dentistry at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC Barcelona) in Spain, Dario became a practicing dentist and pursued advanced training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics through a Master's degree program.

Dario gained recognition for his portrayal of Lumiere in the musical production of *Beauty and the Beast*, for which he received an Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2017 Macy’s Awards. He also wrote, directed, and starred in *Runaway*, a 35-minute one-shot short film showcasing his passion for innovative filmmaking.

With experience across stage, film, and voice acting, Dario Askari has built a diverse body of work that reflects his versatility as a performer, filmmaker, and storyteller.
