- Dawson Bryant is an Atlanta-based Filmmaker specializing in editing and sound design originating from Western NC. He graduated from WCU with a BFA in Film and Television Production in the Spring of 2022.
His school connections led him to Local Cinema Studios in 2021, where he got his start as a DIT and assistant editor, which later turned into an opportunity to sound design. Now, in 2023, he's done both in some facet for films professionally.
In the summer of 2022, Dawson was given the opportunity to edit and sound design the feature film, Hero, a coming-of-age drama produced by USC and the South Carolina Film Commission in partnership with Local Cinema Studios. It's currently on its festival run.
