Aryana Sayeed

Aryana Sayeed is an Afghan singer, songwriter and TV personality. She regularly performs in concerts and festivals within and outside Afghanistan. Sayeed has also had hosting roles in reality television talent shows including Afghan Star for TOLO TV in Afghanistan, along with appearances on reality shows. Born in Kabul, Afghanistan, Aryana left her country of birth as a child, relocating to Pakistan initially and after migrating to Switzerland has eventually settled in London, England. In 2018, Aryana was awarded the prestigious Freedom Award from the Atlantic Council. In 2021, Aryana performed at UNESCO's 75th Anniversary Celebration in Paris, France, and she was invited to perform at the European Parliament, highlighting the plight of women in Afghanistan.
