Pete Sayers was born on November 6, 1942 in Bath, Somerset, England, UK. He was an actor, known for The American Way (1986), The Story of English (1986) and Country Hoedown (1974). He died on February 11, 2005 in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, UK.

Toured the USA in 1970s and became friends with Dolly Parton.

Performed as comedy character 'Dennis Of Grunty Fen' which had a regular slot on Cambridge local radio. Grunty Fen is a hamlet outside of Ely, Cambs.

Well known Blue Grass singer. Released final album 'Crow Road' a year before his death.
