Neelam cut out her ex husband Shiv Kumar completely from Megha's life. Shiv later remarried to lady named Suman Pathak and had two sons named Ram and Lakhan. Daughter Megha is now known as Megha Sharma and has two daughters. She works at Star Plus India Private Limited as a executive producer.
