Of half German, half Turkish heritage, Robert was born in Berlin during the last days of the Cold War.
After a successful career as an art director in the music and advertising industry, in 2010 he became the creative director of renowned online platform Highsnobiety, developing and managing their acclaimed print extension over the next four years.
Today Robert is working as a director, photographer and creative consultant for clients worldwide. He is also the founder of Berlin based creative studio and production A Current State.
