Mu-ryong Choi was born on 25 February 1928 in Paju, Gyeonggi province, Korea, Empire of Japan [now South Korea]. He was an actor and director, known for Duch (1987), The North and South (1965) and The 30-Year Showdown (1971). He was married to Kim Ji-mee and Hyo-shil Kang. He died on 13 November 1999 in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
