Zuzanna Zachara-Hassairi is a multi award winning documentary and fiction cinematographer based in Poland who has been recognized as one of the top 10 Polish cinematographers under 40 by Culture.pl magazine.
She received awards for:
Best cinematography 2023 / "The Fledgling" / Polish Society of Cinematographers
Best cinematography 2022 / "When the House Turns" / 41st The Youth and Film Festival
Best cinematography 2021/ "The Bitter Herb" / 44th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia / 38th The Youth and Film Festival / The Zsigmond Vilmos International Film Festival
She is a graduate of Polish National Film School in Lodz (Cinematography & Television Production). She founded and chairs the Cinematography Science Club at the Polish National Film School and recently became a member of the International Federation of Cinematographers - IMAGO.
Currently Zuzanna is preparing for her feature-length fiction debut and two of her documentaries are in post production awaiting an international film festival premiere in 2024.
