Biography

  • Eric graduated from the film program at Penn State in 1996.

He worked on his first film in the summer of 98 when he served as the second boom on an American Zoetrope project called "The Florentine". A year later he moved to New York and got an internship at a post facility called Planet 10. He's been working in the NY film community ever since.

In between studio jobs working as a facility technician, field recordist and an assistant sound editor he spent time supervising sound on indie projects to get more editorial experience.

Two of the short films he supervised received Oscar nominations. "Guard Dog" a Bill Plympton animation and "Salim Baba" a documentary about a man who operates a mobile theater in Kolkata India.

He has served as the assistant sound and FX recordist on many projects such as "The Wrestler", "Love Life", "Tokyo Vice" and "Beauty And The Beast".

He began cutting Foley in 2014 on the film "Mr. Holmes" and over the years worked on "Godfather Of Harlem", "Hellraiser", "Past Lives", "Escape at Dannemora" and "Severance" just to name a few.

He has also spent time working at Rockstar Games as a Dial editor on the first Red Dead Redemption and hopes to work on more video games in the future.
