Josef Brabec was born on 2 October 1890 in Prague Cechy, Austria-Hungary [now Czech Republic]. He was a cinematographer and actor, known for Láska a dreváky (1914), V mesíci lásky (1919) and Kainovo znamení (1929). He died on 5 December 1977 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic].
