Emily Swain(I)

Emily Swain is an Anglo-Irish actor working across film, television, and theatre. Her recent screen work includes leading roles in the RTS (South) award-winning What About Me and Hallmark’s Royal-ish (2025), which premiered to over 1.5 million U.S. viewers, alongside supporting appearances in ITV’s Code of Silence and Grace. Her performance in Hulu’s The Heritage, part of Bite Size Halloween, earned her a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the British Horror Film Festival, alongside further internationally distributed broadcast and streaming credits. In 2025, she performed a one-woman, 75-minute play as Ruth Madoff in London. Trained at ALRA and fluent in French, she has also developed short films that have screened at IFTA-affiliated festivals and Bloomsday Dublin, including a project shot in Lebanon dedicated to Syrian refugees. She previously took a sabbatical working in human rights and as a journalist within the defence industry. Emily works across high-quality international drama and is the daughter of late and cherished actors Cherry Morris and Mike Murray.
