Sebastián Torres Greene is a director and screenwriter from León, Mexico. He attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, where he studied Film. His first short film, Nahjum (2020), won the Best Young Creative Award at the HBO-sponsored Urban World Festival in New York, Best Neomex Short Film at Shorts México, Best International Short Film at the Icarus Central America Film Festival, an Honorable Mention at HollyShorts, Best Science Fiction and Fantasy Short Film at Feratum, Best Director at the Nevada City Film Festival, Official Selection at the Manchester Film Festival, Official Selection at the New York Latino Film Festival, and was screened at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (The Oscars®) in the "Generational Echoes of Hispanic Cinema" selection, among others. His second short film, Como una Rata Vieja (2021), was screened at the Short Shorts & Asia Festival in the Special Program sponsored by the International Committee of the Red Cross, focusing on war and the power of life. His latest and most ambitious short film, Los Hijos de Dios (2022), premiered at the Morelia International Film Festival in 2022. It won an Honorable Mention at the Guanajuato International Film Festival, was an Official Selection at Hollyshorts, among others. He is represented by Verve Talent & Literary Agency.
