- Diane Shorthouse is a British producer and line producer whose career spans more than 30 film and television productions.
She began her career working for the family of Stanley Kubrick before progressing through production roles from stand-in to senior production leadership. Her grounding in Kubrick’s meticulous creative process continues to inform her approach to supporting and delivering ambitious storytelling.
Her credits include the BAFTA-nominated Channel 4 drama Cyberbully starring Maisie Williams; Mammals for Amazon Studios, working alongside Jez Butterworth and James Corden; A Town Called Malice for Sky Studios; and Miracle Landing on the Hudson for National Geographic (now on Disney+), which involved the large-scale technical challenge of submerging a full passenger aircraft in a custom-built water tank.
She has also served as co-producer on the Paramount+ series Curfew and as Head of Production at Vertigo Films.
Diane co-founded Evolutionary Films in 2014.
