Vinnie Camilleri is a multi-talented musician, filmmaker, and creative force behind international ad campaigns and cinematic storytelling. He began his career as the guitarist for Pete Best, the original drummer of The Beatles, often referred to as "The Fifth Beatle." Vinnie recorded two albums with Pete-Once a Beatle, Always and The Pete Best Band: Live at The Cavern-and helped bring the legacy of early Beatles history to a new generation.
As frontman of the band Dust, Vinnie performed alongside Jamie Murphy and Franny Griffiths of Space, and Vinnie Jamison of Echo & the Bunnymen, further cementing his presence in the UK music scene.
Over the past five years, Vinnie has become a lead creative for global men's grooming brand The Beard Struggle, where he writes, films, acts, edits, scores, and provides voice-over for high-end, cinematic commercials. He has worked closely with strongman Eddie Hall and created memorable campaigns, including a Father's Day advert in which he wrote the script, filmed the piece, played the postman, edited the footage, and composed the music.
As a composer, Vinnie has written eight Viking-themed albums under the ongoing series Viking Saga (Parts 1-8), with Part 9 in production. His music fuses cinematic orchestration with epic Norse-inspired themes. A turning point came when dark folk artist Danheim, whose music featured in the hit shows Vikings and Vikings: Valhalla, played Vinnie's music on his 24-hour Viking radio stream-introducing Vinnie's sound to a global Viking and pagan music audience.
A passionate documentarian, Vinnie is an honorary member of the Wirral Archaeology Group, creating historical films that preserve and share local heritage. His work has taken him to Norway, where he filmed cinematic beard care content with Thor Rosland and Espen Hatleskog, also known as Pilot Viking.
He is also the official voice of The Beard Struggle, bringing the brand's tone to life with his distinctive voice-over work.
Most recently, Vinnie appeared in the post-apocalyptic short film Anareta, directed by Liverpool filmmaker Daniel Boocock. In addition to playing a role on screen, Vinnie composed the entire original score, adding depth, atmosphere, and emotional weight to the film's dystopian world.
