- Actress, Salma Malhas, was born in Amman, Jordan, with Palestinian heritage. She starred in Netflix's first Arab series "Jinn," as Mira at 17 years old and received her BFA in Drama from Tisch School of the Arts in New York University. She is a guest star on Apple TV+'s new series "The Savant". She has worked for The New York African Film Festival, El Gouna Film Festival, and Amman International Film Festival as a cultural organizer.
