  • Asiana is a New York based film director and photographer. Having traveled the world for her work, she is known for her vibrant and insightful approach to visual storytelling and advertising.

    Asiana holds 4 degrees, including a Film & Television BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and Associate Degrees in Film & Television, Arts & Humanities, and Science & Mathematics. Her professional background includes experience in 3D photogrammetry, color grading, and assistant directing. At 18, she starred as the lead in local short film, Game Face (2021). The next year, Asiana hosted a three day cinematography conference at UC Santa Barbara featuring a prestigious panel from the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC), and premiered her new short film, Hindsight (2023), in the Santa Barbara International Film Festival as a directing finalist in their 10-10-10 Competition. She is set to release her latest film, The First Rain in May (2026), next year.

    Asiana loves capturing life as it unfolds, untouched and unposed, and brings that sensibility even into her commissioned work. Her appreciation for diverse people and cultures fuels her creative process, allowing her to observe a myriad of perspectives and special moments through a script, lens, or human moment.
