Biography

Rashad Haughton was born on August 6, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He is a director and writer, known for Muga Shozoku (2015), Queen of the Damned (2002) and Half Samurai (2023).

Due to Aaliyah's tragic death, the producers of his sister's final film, Queen of the Damned (2002), asked Rashad to provide the voiceovers to his sister's lines due to their similar voices. The producers enhanced his vocals using computer technology in order to make his vocals sound more feminine.

Older brother of singer Aaliyah. Appeared on MTV 2001 Video Music Awards to pay tribute to his sister, who died in a plane crash 11 days earlier.

Is an aspiring screenwriter.
